By rail: Cambridge Railway Station is 5 minutes away by taxi. There is a regular train service from London Kings Cross which takes 45 minutes if you take the Cambridge Express (non-stop). Trains depart at quarter past and quarter to each hour.
By road: There are good links to the ARC from all directions.
If approaching from the M11, exit at Junction 11 which is Trumpington Rd.
If approaching from the city centre, Trumpington Rd is a direct continuation from Trumpington St but should not be mistaken for the latter.
If you are in front of Kings College it is a straight line to the ARC. By foot it would take approximately 30 minutes, by bicycle about 10 minutes, and by taxi just 5 minutes.
You pass the beautiful University Botanical Gardens on your left en route to the ARC.
By air: The nearest airport is London Stansted Airport. This is approximately 30 minutes away by taxi. There is also a regular train service from the airport to Cambridge which takes approximately 25 minutes. Stansted Airport has excellent (and often low budget) air links to most of Europe. Currently there are no flights between North America and Stanstead Airport.
If arriving from North America, please use Heathrow Airport (London). A bus from Heathrow to Cambridge takes approximately 2 hours. By taxi Heathrow is about 1.5 hours from the ARC. From Heathrow you can also take the Heathrow Express train to Paddington station (20 minutes), then the London Underground tube to Kings Cross station (20 minutes), and then a train from Kings Cross to Cambridge (45 minutes).
