Dr Gina Gómez de la Cuesta (Gina Owens)
Gina completed her thesis on using systemising to facilitate social skills in autism in 2008. Her work included an evaluation of Lego therapy and the Social Use of Language Programme, and an evaluation of The Transporters DVD.
Gina currently works for the National Autistic Society, as Director of Action Research, evaluating the effectiveness of services for individuals with autism spectrum conditions. She is interested in linking research and practice, and increasing the evidence base for interventions for individuals with ASC.
She is currently completing a manual for Lego Therapy in conjunction with Dan LeGoff (the creator of Lego therapy), the National Autistic Society and Lego Ltd.
