Paul trained as a psychiatrist in Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire, starting work with the CLASS clinic in 2011. He specialises in psychiatry of learning disabilities, but has an interest in autistic spectrum conditions across the range of intellectual ability. He completed a technical update of the Adult Asperger Assessment diagnostic tool in 2011 and continues to provide support for this instrument.
