Dr Elizabeth Weir
Research Associate
Dr Elizabeth Weir is a postdoctoral research associate at the University of Cambridge’s Autism Research Centre and a Bye Fellow at Queens’ College, Cambridge. Her research focuses primarily on the outcomes of autistic people, particularly in the areas of health, healthcare, educational attainment, and employment. Dr Weir’s work has been published in top journals, such as The Lancet Psychiatry, JAMA Pediatrics, and Nature Communications, and her recent TEDx talk has been viewed over 15,000 times. Outside of her research, Dr Weir supervises students in biology, medicine, and psychology, and mentors both undergraduate and postgraduate students with accessibility and disability support needs at the University of Cambridge.
