Emily Ruzich

Doctoral Scientist

Emily completed her PhD at the ARC, investigating autistic traits in the general population as measured using the Autism-Spectrum Quotient (AQ).

She published the first meta-analysis of the AQ in typical individual in 2015, in the journal Molecular Autism. She also investigated EEG correlates with AQ.

She was supervised by Dr Howard Ring in the Cambridge Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Research Group (CIDDRG), and worked with Drs Carrie Allison and Bonnie Auyeung in the ARC.

She conducted the first study using the AQ in siblings of people with autism. Her projects are funded by the Autism Research Trust.

She is now Associate Researcher in the Department of Clinical Neuroscience at the Institute of Neuroscience and Physiology, Sahlgrenska Academy, University of Gothenberg, in Sweden.
