Adriana Cherskov

MPhil Student

Adriana is examining the relationship between women who have Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) and autism. Several studies have found an association between these, which are thought to be mediated by a common underlying pathway involving elevated prenatal androgens. Adriana came to Cambridge from Princeton University where she studied molecular biology. Her research project there focused on the cerebellum in the development of autism using delay eyeblink conditioning in mouse autism models.

She is funded by a Gates scholarship.
