ABOUT

Dr Jan Freyberg

Dr Jan Freyberg completed his PhD with MRC funding at the ARC, and his interest lies in basic visual perception and the differences in vision between people with or without autism spectrum conditions. He used basic visual paradigms such as binocular rivalry, crowding and various attention manipulations in order to test for differences in the visual cortex and indicators of how individuals with an autism spectrum condition may perceive the world. He worked closely with Dr Caroline Robertson, formerly at the ARC and now a Fellow at Harvard University. He combined psychophysical methods with ERP. His is now a postdoc in the Forensic and Neurosciences Department at Kings College London.
