Tanya is working on the oxytocin inhalation project, using neuroimaging methods to explore how oxytocin influences brain activation in women with and without autism. She is also interested in how oxytocin may interact with other hormones known to influence social cognition. Tanya's PhD is funded by the Cambridge Trust and the Autism Research Centre.

Prior to coming to Cambridge, Tanya obtained research experience in social neuroendocrinology and genetics while completing her Masters in Biological Sciences at Simon Fraser University in Canada.
