Dr Ayla Humphrey

Dr Ayla Humphrey is a Consultant and Lead Child and Adolescent Psychologist in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust (CPFT), and an Affiliated Lecturer in Developmental Psychiatry in the Department of Psychiatry, Cambridge University. She co-supervised Gina Owens (now Dr Gina Gomez) to evaluate Lego Therapy for children with autism in the first UK trial of this autism-friendly intervention. 

Alongside her research she has developed clinical services within CPFT, including the Cambridge Centre for Paediatric Neuropsychological Rehabilitation (CCPNR) and Cambridgeshire Children & Young People's Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (CYP IAPT). She also has close links with Gretton School for children on the autism spectrum.
