Dr Gina Gómez de la Cuesta (Dr Gina Owens)
Gina completed her PhD thesis on using systemising to facilitate social skills in autism in 2008. Her work included an evaluation of Lego therapy and the Social Use of Language Programme, and an evaluation of The Transporters DVD, in autism. Gina currently works as Assistant Research Psychologist for Cambridgeshire & Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust on the Family Happiness and Wellbeing project, looking at screening and early intervention for mental health difficulties in primary schools. She is completing a doctorate in Clinical Psychology and works with Dr Ayla Humphrey, as well as running Bricks4Autism to implement Lego Therapy into clinical and educational settings.
