Dr Sarah Griffiths

Research Associate

Sarah Griffiths is a Research Associate on the ‘autism and vulnerability project’ which is funded by Autistica and the Autism Research Trust. The project involves working closely with the autism community to identify key areas of vulnerability in people’s lives and look at the consequences of different types of vulnerability on mental health outcomes.

Sarah completed her BSc in Psychology at the University of Birmingham before moving to the University of Bristol to complete her PhD. During her PhD she investigated facial expression perception in autism and developed the ‘About Face’ iPad app for teaching facial expression recognition to children with autism in collaboration with special needs teachers.
