Structural and Functional MRI of Autism and Broader Phenotype

This project, also known as The Cambridge Family Study of Autism, investigates autism and its extended phenotype by scanning teenagers with Asperger Syndrome or High-Functioning Autism (HFA), unaffected siblings and typically developing controls, using structural and functional magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). This project was originally funded by an MRC Clinician Scientist Fellowship to Dr Michael Spencer and is now led by Prof John Suckling.
