
Database Manager
Simon is the Database Manager at the Autism Research Centre, and is responsible for maintaining the records of 30,000 individuals. These include autistic and non-autistic individuals who volunteer to take part in research studies. His role is to ensure that the standard of data is fit for purpose, and to guarantee confidentiality and ethical governance. He also facilitates data extraction, sharing of anonymised data, and volunteer recruitment into new studies.
Simon studied Biology at undergraduate degree, Proteomics at PhD level, and has many years of experience working with biological data.
