Doctoral Scientist
Saashi is a PhD student working with Dr. Richard Bethlehem. For her PhD research, Saashi will be using MRI to study factors influencing the heterogeneity of autism and how these relate to differences in neuroanatomy, with a focus on sex differences. Her PhD is funded by the Coutts Trotter Scholarship awarded by Trinity College.
Before coming to Cambridge, Saashi completed a BA in psychology and an MSc in neurosciences at McGill University in Montreal. For her MSc she investigated cortical alterations in autistic individuals related to sex, age and IQ, using a large multi-site structural MRI dataset. She has also worked as a behavioural therapist with autistic children.
