Jobs and Studentships

Fully Funded PhD Studentship: Autism and Addiction

We are inviting expressions of interest from motivated individuals wishing to pursue a funded PhD starting in October 2026 exploring if autistic people are at elevated risk of developing addictions. This scholarship offers the equivalent of full funding at the home student rate for 3.5 years. We are particularly interested in candidates with a strong academic background in psychology, neuroscience, medicine, or a related field, and a keen interest in autism research. Please send a cover letter, together with a CV and brief research proposal, to Professor Simon Baron-Cohen (sb205@cam.ac.uk).

Other Opportunities

The ARC is regularly advertising for research assistants and postdoctoral scientists, informaticians and project coordinators, among other roles. Vacancies are advertised on the Cambridge University jobs page.

Please see Research Opportunities for information about PhD and Postdoctoral opportunities.
