Eddie Bullock

Doctoral Scientist

Eddie is a PhD student supervised by Prof. Simon Baron-Cohen and Dr Carrie Allison. Eddie’s research applies machine learning to explore social interaction and develop ways to integrate these models into wearable devices, with the aim of creating assistive technologies that support social communication. His PhD is funded by the Medical Research Council.

Before starting his PhD, Eddie completed his MSc in child and adolescent mental health at KCL where he focused on applying machine learning techniques such as Natural Language Processing to explore emotion in children and young people. He is particularly interested in the potential of utilising machine learning to advance research.
