Dr Lindsay Chura

Dr Lindsay Chura completed her PhD at the Autism Research Centre investigating the shape of the corpus callosum in autistic teenagers, their unaffacted siblings, and neurotypical individuals. She also performed the first human study to test for an association between the shape of the corpus callosum and foetal testosterone. She was funded by a Gates Foundation Doctoral Scholarship and worked as part of the MRC Autism Family Study led by Dr Mike Spencer. She is now Senior Policy Advisor, Science and Innovation at the British Embassy in Washington DC.
