Dr Rebecca Clark-Elford
Rebecca (Becky) completed her PhD at the Autism Research Centre, where she investigated the effects of nasal inhalation of oxytocin in patients with social anxiety disorder, using a range of neuropsychological measures. She was supervised by Dr Pradeep Nathan. In parallel she collaborated on a study evaluating oxytocin administration in autism and the effects on social gaze, under the supervision of Dr Bonnie Auyeung.
She was funded by the BBSRC and Glaxo-Smith Kline for her PhD and by the Autism Research Trust on the autism and oxytocin study.
