Dr Sarah K. Crockford

Dr Sarah K. Crockford is a post-doctoral researcher in Prof. Richard Bethlehem’s Neuroinformatics Group at the University of Cambridge. She completed her PhD at Cambridge in Theoretical and Applied Linguistics, followed by a postdoctoral position at the Italian Institute of Technology supervised by Dr. Michael Lombardo, before returning to Cambridge for her current position. She currently works on quantifying individual variability in neural and behavioural data across the lifespan, with applications to neurodevelopmental conditions, language, and human cognition. Her work draws on methods from information theory, machine learning, and signal processing. From 2014 to 2015 she completed her undergraduate year in industry as a visiting research student at the ARC and continues to collaborate with Prof. Simon Baron-Cohen and Prof. Carrie Allison on published research.
