MPhil Student

Kristen is an MPhil student in Medical Sciences (Psychiatry) working on the CHILD study with Prof. Simon Baron-Cohen, Dr. Alex Tsompanidis, Dr. Carrie Allison, Dr. Rosie Holt and Yumnah Khan. Kristen’s research on the CHILD study focuses on using early brain development data to better understand sensory processing and social engagement during infancy. Kristen will also be supporting Yumnah Khan’s project on neonatal sex differences in social perception. Before starting her MPhil, Kristen graduated from McGill University in 2023 with an undergraduate degree in Honours Neuroscience. While at McGill, she worked at the Chai Lab on a study interested in self-referential episodic memory in neurotypical and autistic children at the Montreal Neurological Institute-Hospital.
